The lazy one
Wicker lounge chairs, a hanging hammock and white walls that hold the warmth until late. In winter it gets the sun all day; in summer, the evenings are the best part.
Capistrano Village · Nerja · Costa del Sol

The house
The living room opens onto the main terrace through a folding glass wall, so the kitchen, the table and the sofa all share the same light.
There's a real kitchen — oven, hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker and everything you need to cook — a round table for four, and a desk by the window for the days you need to answer email.
The bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living room a sofa bed; there's an open wardrobe rail and fresh linen and towels on arrival. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Air conditioning and heating keep it comfortable in August and in January.
Outside
Wicker lounge chairs, a hanging hammock and white walls that hold the warmth until late. In winter it gets the sun all day; in summer, the evenings are the best part.
Straight out of the kitchen through the arch: coffee, fruit from the market in Nerja and the first swim still ahead of you.
Over the whitewashed rooftops and the palm trees of the village, the Mediterranean. The kind of view that makes you stay in for one more glass.
The patio
Besides the two terraces, the house has its own patio: lunch in the open air, a barbecue as the sun goes down and a cool shower when you're back from the beach.
Rinse off the salt and the sand before going inside. After a day at Burriana, it feels like a luxury.
Fish from the market, sardines, vegetables: dinner outside, the way it's done in Andalusia.
Room to eat outdoors, from a slow breakfast to a dinner that goes on late.
Loungers to lie in the sun without leaving home — and without paying for one at the pool.

November to March
Nerja has around 320 days of sun a year and midday temperatures near 17 °C in January. With a desk by the window, fast Wi-Fi and a terrace for lunch, the house works as well for a month of remote work as it does for a long weekend. Stays of four weeks or more get our monthly rate.

Built like an Andalusian white village on the hill east of Nerja: whitewashed lanes, bougainvillea, gardens and terraces looking out to sea. It's one of the most sought-after places to stay in town — quiet at night, with everything you need inside, and the beach and the old town within walking distance.

Two community pools with sea views and palm trees, just across the street from the house.

A bar, a restaurant and a supermarket inside the village for the days you don't want to go anywhere.

Free parking in the village that's rarely full, and more in the streets around. The bus into town stops about 200 m away.
